Industrial robot turns chef and cooks pancakes.
Okonomivaki is a popular Japanese dish made of a fried batter cake and other ingredients such as various Asian Vegetables, shrimp, crab, cheese and so on. Yakawa Electric, a Tokyo based electronics company, produced an robot that can cook. Yakawa Electric unveiled the Motoman SDA10 and it’s cooking skills at the International Next – Generation Robot Fair in Osaka Japan. Motoman SDA 10 is a slim robot weighing in at 135cm or 53 inches tall and features seven (7) joints in each arm and one (1) in the torso can take orders from customers using it’s voice recognition software to whip up some meals from scatch, serve it to the customer and top it all off with your favorite condiments.
