Apple moves 1 million iPhone 3GS in opening weekend
For those of you who thought the minor upgrades on the 3GS were not gonna hypnotize buyers, you were wrong! In a flashy press release today Apple has made it known that they moved 1,000,000 iPhones between Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These numbers are impressive in and of themselves and totally trumps (by ten fold) the estimated 100,000 Pre’s moved on the weekend of June 6th. For those wondering exactly what these figures mean (which shouldn’t be hard), it plainly means Apple still got their game.
For those Palm fans, fear not though as we’re hearing that both AT&T and Verizon will be getting the Pre next year and there are more webOS phones due on the way.
