Apple Posts Record Profits AGAIN!

Hate all you want, and cry all you want but Apple knows what people want and even in this dire economic times, have still managed to post record profits of its overpriced and awesome gadgets.
That said, the company just posted record profits which equal $1.23 billion. This is for the companies third quarter in its 2009 fiscal year. It should be noted that 44% of those sales came from the International community, so it’s clear that America isn’t the only country who likes shiny iPhones. A vast majority of these sales figures came from its iPhone going international. It also managed to push 10.2 million iPods during the same time. What is ironic is that this is a 7% decrease from last year.
Just in case you’re thinking it’s because the iPhone is dying, that’s not necessarily the case as Apple has admitted that the iPod Touch and iPhone have been cannibalizing iPod Shuffle, Classic and Nano sales.
Apple went on to note that it has had to date 1.5 billion downloads from the App Store. More importantly is the fact that its iPhone boost has gone to 626%. This of course is because of the international effort on their side. Last but not least, MacBook sales totaled 2.6 million units which is up some 4% from last year.
All in all it just proves that Apple is still in the game. So if you bought a shiny Apple toy between this time, we congratulate you.
