BUGbase WiFi Portable Linux Computer Now Available

It’s been a while since we last heard anything about Bug Labs, after a long battle with the licensing powers-to-be Bug has finally received approval to ship the BUGbase WiFi both in the US as well as in Europe.
The BUGBase WiFi, a Bluetooth equiped module-based Linux computer for “rapid devie prototyping” that allows you to build any gadget you wanted by simply connecting some simple functional components together.
The palm-sized computer sports a 523MHz ARM 11 processor, and 128MB SDRAM with 32MB on-board flash storge. It has built-in WiFi 802.11b/g and Bluetooth support.
In addition to integrated WiFi and Bluetooth, it’s RoHS and CE compliant along with a few other under-the-hood enhancements to include support up to 16GB microSD cards. The device also offers hardware graphic acceleration and built-in MPEG4 encoding/decoding.
BUGbase WiFi is currently avaiable in the United States and in the European market for $449.
