Casio debuts Exilim EX-FS10 and EX-FC100 Cameras
During CES 2009 Casio announced the addition of two new light weight point and click cameras to it’s inventory, the EX-FC100 and EX-FS10. These two compact cameras can can record video with a frame rate of at least 1000 fps. Thats pretty impressive for such small and slim cameras.
Unlike it’s predecessors the the EX-F1 and EX-FH20 , Casio managed to shrink down components necessary to fit it all, plus sensors into the new slim cases. The end results are these two 9-mega pixel EX-FC100 and EX-FS10 cameras.
Basically the two cameras have the same features, both models have 30fps burst shooting at 6 mega pixels, Lag Correction and a user determined prerecord interval (fixes human reflexes and slow hardware issues). Both camera’s can record 720p movies and Slow Motion preview to allow you to save the best frame from a capture. Both camera’s have High-speed Best Selection which chooses the best photo from a burst capture.
The FC100 is the upper-class model and comes with a 5X zoom lens plus a sensor-shift optical stabilizer. The FS10 model is the thinnest between the two and offers a 3X zoom lens with no stabilization.
The two cameras will be available in March onwards. The EX-FS10 will cost $349.99 and come in blue, gray, red, and white colors. The EX-FC100 will cost $399.99 and be available in gray and white.
