Clockman is a Japanese alarm clock that has personality (video)
When your blogging you no doubt discover all sorts of new and interesting products you like to review or just share. Sometimes though you stumble across a product that lives you dumb founded, or confused.
The Clockman, a new model from major Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy left me wondering if I should even report it. I mean it is a bit strange, kinda creepy looking too, it has eyes and a mouth, plus it speaks to you.
I kid you not, this gadget really talks to you, there are four models, each has a different personality. I did say different personalities right? Yea, each is modeled after blood type personalities, told you this was creepy.
blood type A, for example, is a polite clock. Clock A wakes you up nicely saying “It’s time to wake up. Please wake up.”, on the flip side of the coin blood type 0 is a bit more aggressive and will try to get you going in snooze mode by shouting “Fight! Make an effort! Stand up! Fight!” ( all in Japanese).
There not at all that big in size measuring in at 80×83×80mm and each weighs 297g. Takara Tomy says each clock has a 300 pre-installed sentence capacity.
The Clockman arrives in Japanese stores on November 19, and their available for pre-order from the Japan Trend Shop for around $57 - depending on the dollar exchange rate for that day.
