Corsair demonstrated it’s new Peltier memory cooler at CES
Corsair demonstrated some new products during CES, like triple-channel DDR3 memory modules for Core i7 systems and a new Peltier memory cooler. The new DDR3 memory modules will be rated at 2000 MHz and a 7ns CAS latency. They won’t be cheap and you’ll have to purchase them directly from Corsair. There going to offer a slower DDR3 kit rated at 1866 MHz with the same CAS latency and these can be purchased through normal vendors.
Basically you remove the screws from the top of the module and attach the modules and heat-sinks to the electrical device. The Peltier unit will then use the existing Dominator heat-sinks to cool a larger heat block and will be able to attach to just about any water cooling setup. Below is a short video of Corsair’s new cooling device that I’m sure will catch any extreme overclockers eye and send them into a drooling rage to get one..
