Dealmap Locates Web Based Deals Nearest You
Let me ask you a question: What would you rather do, search individual websites for deals or search a site that has combined them all in one location just for your area? That’s not to hard to answer, the later of course.
All you have to do is type in your zip code or address, choose by categories if you wish, and Dealmap locates and plots the businesses in your area offering discounts, deals, or coupons onto a Google map for you. Click the business your interested in and a list of the discounts will appear in the lower section of the map.
Dealmap lets Web publishers tap into its system and post deals on their sites, and these publishers can feed deals back into Dealmap. It also pulls in deals from social media sites, such as Twitter. Around my area I saw lots of Restaurant offerings, bookstore, paint, gift cards, coupon deals and lots of shopping deals. Many I don’t think were listed in the local paper or on TV.
