Driver-Free Data Copy and Internet Connection Sharing Dongle

usb net sharing Driver Free Data Copy and Internet Connection Sharing DongleRecently I was having some issues with my motherboard last week and couldn’t get them to recognize my portable external hard drive. After hours of trouble shooting I took a break and remembered my son recently purchased a driver free USB Data Copy cable. Quickly I gave him a call and asked if I could borrow the device as I had some data that needed to be transferred. I was impressed with the device and thought it was no doubt a gadget to post on and share with others.

So today we are taking a closer look at Brando’s driver-free USB 2.0 Data Copy and Internet Connection Sharing Dongle. Design-wise the device won’t win any awards for good looks, but it does have a lot to offer. For one, it enables data transfers between PCs swiftly and efficiently (Data transfer rate up to 480Mbps maximum, 1GB/about 59sec). The cable itself is about two meters in length, so you have plenty of space to work with. One of the nicest features is it allows the second computer the option of siphoning Internet from the first. Of course this is not how you want your Internet to be configured, but when your in a bind and time is critical it works out nicely. The dongle supports Win2K, XP and Vista, my son paid just $29 USD and has already helped both of us out of a jam.

If you want to purchase one for yourself you can find it here.
