Evercool releases Ultra Portable “FIT” notebook cooler
Laptop owners know how hot their devices can get especially if you balance your machine on your lap. With today’s even more powerful processors and graphics accelerator, heat is a natural and common enemy.
There are a various number of cooling devices which help lower notebook temperatures but most use a cooling pad that goes under the notebook and are designed to cool the external case via heat transfer or conduction rather than heat transfer via air movement or convection. Don’t get me wrong these cooling pads work well but are bulky and they still don’t solve the problem of heat building up around your processor.
All though Evercool offers a notebook cooling pad they also offer a different and new solution called the Fit Notebook Cooler. The Fit Notebook Cooler takes a different approach to cooler your CPU, it’s designed to remove heat from inside the notebooks case via the exhaust port found on the side of most laptop cases.
The greatest attribute this device offers besides cooling is there’s absolutely no installation involved, you simply place the device up against your notebook’s exhaust and plug it into a USB port for power. The idea is so simple and effective is amazing it hasn’t been created until now.
The FIT works with 9″-18″ laptops, measurements are 55 X 85.3 X 25mm and weighs a whole whopping 60 grams. In other words it’s small and light, comes with a soft carry pouch and a USB power cable.
