Google Developing Navigation App?

This just in, turns out Google might be making a bigger splash in the mobile department sometime soon. Turns out there are rumors circulating about the search engine giant’s plans to build its own navigation app.
If you remember, Apple recently bought some type of navigation firm the other day, if these rumors hold to be true it could mean that both companies are going to be in an all out battle for dominance in the mobile navigation market.
No need to worry Palm owners as (those of us who are on Sprint), have had full turn by turn navigation for like ages now, all included in that sweet monthly bill. At any rate its nice to see that something like this could be coming to Android 1.5 or 2.0 sometime soon.
