There was this little bar down the street where I lived that had a wood fired oven, and they served the best Pizza I have ever eaten. The taste was unbelievable, full of juices that made you leave there counting the days until your return to try another.

While I was surfing the net I ran across this DIY temporary wood fired oven. Seems these guys know what good pizza is all about. Jarring those old memories made me want to try this and I thought it would be nice to pass along to our readers.

No doubt this makes an excellent conversational piece at weekend parties, not to mention the tastiest pizza you have ever sunk your teeth into. The pizza take about two or three minutes to cook. The crust will have a crispy exterior and a soft chewy interior, with the perfect char. Tastiest pizza on the planet. This temporary oven was built for a weekend pizza-making event. It was built, fired up, and torn down in one afternoon, and according to the author of the DIY, he “cooked the best pizza I’ve ever made, by far.” Guess I’m not the only one that knows this eh.
