Its Official, Droid Coming to Europe as Motorola Milestone
There some good news for Europeans that want a Droid, Motorola has announced today it will be kicking off a European version of the Motorola Droid, which will be called the Motorola Milestone.
The Milestone campaign will initially start in Germany on mobile phone networks of O2 and Vodafone, it will be the GSM version of the Motorola Droid. The next stop on the trail for the Milestone will be Italy, from there Motorola has yet to release any data where the cell phone will be sold in Europe. But our guess it will be the UK.
Some features will include a 3.7 inch touchscreen display sporting a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a 5 mega pixel camera with dual LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Google Android will be the OS and it will be armed with all the usual Google applications such as Maps, Talk, Mail, and YouTube.
