Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 is here and ready
Looks like Lenovo’s in the news again today, the computer maker has released another Laptop on the market that has recieved a good bit of attention from the media, the Levovo IdeaPad Y650. What has spun so many heads towards this laptop is it’s form-factor: it’s thin and light, for its size ( 15 x 10.23 x 1.02″, 5.6Lbs). Therefore it is the industries lightest and thinnest 16 inch notebook for it’s class. Also the Lenovo IdeaPad Y650 is among those first laptops designed for Nvidia’s GeForce G105M 256MB graphics card.
It sports dark textured finish with a geometric pattern that resists fingerprints and a white interior with orange trim. The system comes with JBL speakers and Dolby Theater Surround Sound technology for quality sound. It’s widescreen TFT LCD display uses LED back-light and has a movie-friendly aspect ratio of 16:9 with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
Whats under the hood? The Y650 packs a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processor and Intel’s integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, up to 4GB DDR3 memory, a 320GB hard drive, DVD burner, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 6 cell battery and Bluetooth. There is a Blue-Ray option at purchase. The base price starts at $1,300 USD and can be purchased direct from Lenovo’s website here.
