Meet the New WowWee Bots
Time to get that Christmas list together, it’s that time of year again. Therefore were going to spend some time each week looking for gift ideas for our reading. Were going to start this our list off with Wowwee.
WowWee has added two bots to it’s line up and are now available for purchase. The humanoid called Joebot, uses the same hand controls as other WowWee humanoids but this one is equipped with voice commands. It’s not clear to us just how many commands Joebot responds to, but we know this would be a cool gift for just about any age.
The second bot is called Roborover, it can move around autonomously avoiding obstacles, and has a guard mode that detects movement. Roborover is a little less educated and sports some functional looking treads, it also has powerful working headlight to guide itself around.
As I said earlier these two bots are good for just about any age, but I would guess there probably more suited for kids than for hardcore robot fan. Both bots can be a lot of fun, Joebot retails for $100, while Roborover goes for $70. Available soon.
