Microsoft expands BlueTrack mouse line

Microsoft is really putting its all behind its new BlueTrack technology what is said to work on almost any surface other then mirrored or clear surfaces. That said Microsoft has updated the line with the Wireless Mobile Mouse 6000 and 5000. The 6000 version features Microsoft’s first nano receiver which is only 0.8cm out from the USB port. The 5000 series is the desktop version and comes with all the bells and whistles expect that tiny receiver which you probably will never need.

Prices will be for $40 for the 5000 series and $10 more for the 6000 series. Now only if they had a Bluetooth version of the mouse. I’m not incredibly enthused about tying up one of the two ports on my Dell XPS 13.
