Microsoft Slashes Xbox 360 Prices

Microsoft reduced prices on Xbox360. They cut the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade version to US$199, the Xbox 360 console for US$299.99 and Xbox 360 Elite for US$399.99. Meanwhile, the company reduced prices on the same product in Japan. Microsoft sources admitted that more than 75 percent of all console sales happen after the price falls below the US$200 mark. At $199 US Dollars, Xbox 360 is the most affordable next-generation gaming console on the market. Rumor has it the firm may reduce prices in Europe to give some serious competition to the Wii and the PlayStation 3.
