MIT’s “sixth sense” project demonstrated
We’ve got you some video showing what those geniuses at MIT have been doing on a project called the sixth sense. With a Pico Projector, web cam, phone and some highly skilled programming they are turning any surface into a digital highway. Hold up an object at the store and the device blasts relevant information onto it, giving you all the related information on that product. The relevant information can be browsed or manipulated via hand movement. Basically the sixth sense is a Internet connection which supplies the desired information and projected on to any surface for use. This is some really cool technology, MIT has been working around the clock in recent months to better the project. Hopefully we will see this technology again in the near future.
