Mozilla iPhone App Coming soon. What the heck is it?
Mozilla will be launching an app for the Apple iPhone, according to Mozilla CEO John Lilly “Mozilla will release an app to the iPhone App Store in the next few weeks. It’ll surprise people”.
He went on to say that the AwesomeBar and Weave, which gives you access to store bookmarks and history will be part of the Mozilla iPhone app. I’m not even going to try and take a guess at what this new app is suppose to do. I’m sure it will be interesting to see what the Mozilla iPhone app does.
I don’t think it will be the Firefox browser as that would compete with Apple’s Safari browser. I don’t think Apple would like that nor would they approve it. But that would be nice to have Firefox on the iPhone, it would leave users with different browser choices. Nah it ain’t going to happen any time soon. Guess we will have to sit back and wait.
