MSI unveils GT740 Gaming Laptop with Intel Core i7 Quad ore prPocessor

MSI has officially announced today a new addition to the G series extreme gaming notebook family, the MSI GT740. The MSI GT740 notebook is being offered as a top of the line gaming solution with the Intel PM55 chipset and the newest Intel Calpella platform.

The GT740 features a 17-inch TFT-LCD display, nVidia GeForce GTS 250M GPU with 1GB of VRAM DDR3, 5 Hi-Fi speakers, 2-megapixel web camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, card reader (SD/MMC/MS/XD), RJ45, RJ11, HMDI, eSATA, D-Sub, three USB ports, and a DVD Super Multi or Blu-ray drive. Its hard drive ranges from 250GB to 500GB.

MSI GT740 gaming laptop is supports up to 4GB RAM DDR3 1066/1333 MHz, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium. This model in a black casing with red accents on the edges. There not much more we can tell you about this rig, we don’t even have a price and release date. But if we had to guess, it is most likely going to be release sometime around October 22 or there about.
