Napster reinventing itself with $5 per month streaming and five free downloads
We remember the days when Napster was on the other side of the law. But with the eventual demise of their P2P service they have been struggling. Starting tonight though, Napster will be releasing a service similar to ZunePass which will allow you to have unlimited access to their 7 million plus tracks from major and independent artists for only $5 a month. Moreover you get to keep five of the songs (a month we guess).
If you love the idea of unliited music like what is offered on ZunePass but dont have $180 a year to shell out for the service, then you can always go with this which will give you all except cuttting down your free songs by five. The yearly price is $60.
