OCZ announces the ultra-high performance Throttle eSATA drive
OCZ Technology Group, Inc., a global leader in innovative, ultra-high performance and high reliability memory, today introduced the Throttle eSATA drive. The Throttle offers a bounty of storage for your diverse multimedia files including high-resolution photos, high-definition movies, or large quantities of music. The Throttle eSATA drive will come in 8GB, 16GB, and 32BG sizes, prices are expected to be $32 for the 8GB model, $56 for 16GB and $160 for 32GB according to our sources. This ultra high performer can read at speeds 90MB per second and write at 30MB. That’s fast enough to playback HD material. Travelers and business professionals will no doubt benefit the most from the greater overall experience, high-capacity, high speed Throttle has to offer. Release date not yet known.
