Planex GW-USMicronN, Tiny Wireless-N Adapter.

tiny usb2 Planex GW USMicronN, Tiny Wireless N Adapter. This small, tiny, teeny, weeny wireless-N Adapter, the GW-USMicronN from Planex. Probably the smallest 802.11n USB adapter to seen date (about 1/6 the size of the D-Link beside it). Despite the fact newer laptops have built in wifi, this gadget comes handy if you have an old laptop or desktop computer hanging around and in need of a make over for some new technology. Comparing the features to its DLink counterpart DWA160, this little gadget no doubt delivers the same punch in a smaller, lighter package. Early testing shows that its range and transfer speeds are competitive with its class, and it features all of the security measures found in bulkier adapters that we know today. Another big feat, it’s compatible with Xlink Kai, a network protocol used by game consoles such as XBOX, PS3, PSP and others. Woowho! Estamated time of arrival in the United States is next month for about $30. I’ll be keeping my eye open for this one.
