Serious Sam HD coming to xBox and PC
Calling all Serious Sam addicts, Croteam has just announce the coming of Serious Sam HD. It’s the same game but now in HD, I do have to admit the footage looks awesome and I’m getting this game if I have to steal it or purchase another Xbox 360.
I love Serious Sam, and this trailer makes the HD upgrade look so freaking awesome. In “Super Happy Fun Time” mode, the usual gore is replaced with stars, lollipops, and other pleasant things. I’ll give it shot, what the heck.
Croteam has sunk some serious money advertising this new make over and it’s working on me. There’s some serious hot footage of Serious Sam HD available on GamesTrailers right now but, if you’ve played through Serious Sam before then it’s old news but the graphics are awesome.
If you never played this chaotic first-person shooter, you will be amazed how the game will over whelm you from every angle with eniemies spawning one right after another. The surreal Egyptian setting will be spread across 12 levels, that means we will be getting as promised dazzling, revamped HD visuals.
Why did I love this game so much? Serious Sam first appeared in 2001 and got it’s charm from swarms of baddies that are triggered when you collect ammo or reach a new area. You will be swarmed and over ran by bulls that charge out at you from no where, headless baddies carry bombs that blow up when there close to you, deranged attackers such as skeletal horse monsters, enormous bosses, flying reptiles and all sorts of creature. It’s an awesome game.
Video after the break.
