Its not everyday that Blackberry announces a new phone, worse a CDMA version, so you can be sure that we actually have some real news here. Sprint has just popped this one on their website with the announcement of the Tour. The phone has been announced for a late summer release.

As for the price we’re hearing from Sprint that it will retail for $199.99. That is after a $150 mail-in rebate so there’s a catch right there. But we’re totally cool with a Blackberry operating on O.S 5.x. So far only thing to offer that from Sprint has been the Nextel version of the Curve 8300.
