HTC CEO: HD2 is Windows Phone only!

Before you Android fans get your panties in a twist, lets explain something. The HD2 was designed for Windows Phone and thus it wouldn’t make sense to put Android on it seeing the OS was not in mind when the hardware was in the works. That said HTC’s CEO is shedding some light on the companies plans.

While he mentioned that the HD2 will be Windows Phone only he did say that he believes both OS can coexist in HTC design labs. Then again you can’t blame him, what do you think has been keeping HTC alive for the past 13 years? Sure as hell wasn’t Android. But remember, that doesn’t mean that a similar device with similar specs might not pop out of the HTC labs running the Android OS. So no need to panic.

If your a Fender fan and I know there’s plenty of them out there you may like the new looks of the Limited Edition My Touch 3G from T-Mobile. I think doing this special edition is a great idea for T-Mobile.

This myTouch has that Fender look and appeal that will surely attract the guitars lovers out there. The new Fender version comes in a pretty wood-grain finish. Not only did the phone get a new skin but they added a much needed a 3.5mm headphone jack that will make life much easier for Mytouch users. The they added the icing to the cake by tossing in a 6GB microSD card that is coming preloaded with music content.

No date has been released yet so those of us and swing by the T-Mobile shop and score this phone. Well keep you posted as to when it arrives for purchase.

Lets face it, the cell phone company known for the sexiest designs hands down is HTC. But what do you get when you stick a 4 inch screen into a device that runs Windows Mobile 6.5 under an HTC Sense UI overlay? You get the sexiest Windows Mobile phone to date.

Not only does this thing sport 400 x 800 WVGA display, its also capacitative (meaning regular stylus will not work with this unlike the HTC Diamond Pro). 5 megapixel camera goodness is included as well as tethering VIA bluetooth or USB. We’re just scratching the iceberg here but you can watch the video below of its debut.

HTC HD2 ‘Leo’ smartphone is now officical

In the last few weeks theres been a flurry of leaked images and rumors of the HTC Leo, HTC has announed the new arrival but their now calling it the HTC HD2. The HTC HD2 will come with Windows Mobile and will include HTC’s sense UI.

Theirs not much info on this phone as of yet but we do know it sports a 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 480 x 800 resolution. We also know it uses Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and will be equipped with 512MB of ROM and 448MB of RAM.

Some other features included a microSD card slot for added memory, a 5 megapixel camera with a dual LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, WCDMA/ HSPA network support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
