The Complete Guide to Google Wave Now Available and Free
Have an interest in Google Wave but have absolutely no idea what it is all about or where to get started. Your not alone, this has been a hot subject around here. I did manage to get an invite which was cool, and took some time to play with it.
Try out The Complete Guide to Google Wave, a new (free) book written Gina Trappani (of Lifehacker fame) and Adam Pash. Google Wave isn’t available to the masses just yet and the current focus seems to be on developers. There’s still a lot to learn, and not that many places available to do the learning.
That’s where The Complete Guide to Google Wave steps up to the plate.
We did a short brief explanation on Google wave a short while back. I can say that wave is new, complex and a incomplete application that’s suppose to change the way we communicate on the Internet. Google has done an excellent job of getting the word on the street in regards to wave, the project has proved to be ambitious with loads of potential.
Thats why Tina and Adam decided to write this book, to clear out the air and let the dust settle, leaving us with a better understanding of where, what and how this will come to play in our everyday lives.
Currently the book is about eight chapters with two appendices, with plans of a possible hard back copy by 2010. So if your curious about the new Wave and want to learn more head on over to The Complete Guide to Google Wave and read all about it.
Note: Their server has had a little trouble keeping up with all the heavy traffic, so if you’re having trouble getting to the website, try this mirror instead.
