Seems like the future of sewing has arrived with the Brother’s Quattro 6000D high end multifunction sewing machine. With it’s brilliant white finish accented by a high gloss blue top, this sewing machine is the most technological advanced sewing gadget available. Brother has no doubt topped it’s line up with the best ever sewing, quilting, embroidery and crafting sewing machine which includes 100 new and improved features.

The Quattro sewing machine is innovative, easy to use and offers Hugh 50 inch workspace. Look closer and you will notice it sports a state of the art, wide angle – 4.5 x 7 inch HD LCD display by Sharp (260,000 colors) and a 56 LED class lighting system they call embedded runaway lighting, if you sew then your aware how important lighting can be in your work area. Instead of the usual one or two USB ports, Brother installed three including a new 2.0 higher speed port to transfer designs quicker. Brother also includes a connector port to download the latest upgrades to give the Quattro the best functionality.

Unlike any other machine in the industry Brother introduced it’s first up-close viewer and sensor, they call it “InnovEye” technology. Basically what they have done is place a camera right next to the needle to give the operator a close-up view on the LCD display to allow precision placement before stitching. It’s like having a magnifier built into the head of the machine, that should should make your eyes happy.

If your not too good with the needle, there are advanced embroidery features and built-in tutorials to help. Brother includes what they call “Print and Stitch Technology” which combines printed images with embroidery designs to create your own 3D craft artwork. This comes with eight built-in backgrounds (or select your own photo or background in JPEG format), including three Disney images. The Print and Stitch function is ideal for accenting apparel and home decor pieces. Just print you design to fabric or iron on transfer paper. Then use the InnovEye Technology to stitch your embroidery design.
The Quattro 6000D price has yet to be released.
