Toshiba releases Tecra A10-S3511 and Tecra M10-S3411 laptops

a10 and m10 Toshiba releases Tecra A10 S3511 and Tecra M10 S3411 laptopsToshiba’s back in the news today announcing the release of the Tecra A10-S3511 and the Tecra M10-S3411 laptops which should be ready for purchase soon. Under the hood both PC’s are equipped with 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 processors, 2GB DDR2 SDRAM and160GB HDD’s. They also sport  built-in webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth v.2.1 +EDR and Toshiba’s EasyGuard Technology. The Li-on battery has a operational period of 3 hours per charge. Both laptops come with Windows Vista Business with media to downgrade it to XP Professional.

As for what’s different between the two systems:

The M10-S3411 sports a 14.1-inch screen TFT active-matrix LCD with WXGA at 1440 x 900 screen resolution. The Hard drive cruises at 5400 RPM and the graphics engine is a Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD. The M10 comes in one color, Titanium Silver and will cost you $1199 USD.

The A10-S3511 has a 15.4-inch screen TFT active-matrix LCD with WXGA at 1680×1050 screen resolution. The Hard drive surfs at 7200 RPM and the graphic engine is the NVIDIA® Quadro® NVS 150M. The A10 also comes in one color Titanium Silver and will cost you $1249 USD.
