Trashed Hard Drives Get Sculpted Into Awesome Cars, Bikes, and Robots

Looking at these photos below we can see not everyone tosses there old hard drives in the trash. Miguel Rivera, a systems administrator turned the worthless old hard drives from trash into really cool looking sculptures.
“The overall concept was to make something out of just hard drive parts and pieces,” says Rivera. “I wanted it to look solid and heavy so I leaned towards just using metal — no plastic or gluing things together.”

These very cool sculpture are created by Miguel, and there’s a lot of detail in this amazing art. His first piece was designed using standard 3.5-inch hard drive, and designed to evoke a car. That project took 33 hard drives and a whole weekend to fabricate. He went on to make his second creation, the mini car which took 29 hard drives. The third project he tackled was the fat boy motorcycle.
The Robot was his most difficult and complex build of all, it was made from 14 laptop hard drives with 18 additional discs from gutted hard drives and spare parts. Miguel Rivera said “This piece allowed me to show off some internal pieces of hard drives I wasn’t able to incorporate with any of the other pieces like using the armatures as weapons.”
