Tuniq Unleashes Propeller 120 CPU Cooler
Tuniq is back in the news again today with it’s latest release the the Tuniq Propeller 120. Seems like yesterday Tuniq just released the Tower 120 Extreme, no doubt they have been busy. The Tuniq Propeller 120 CPU cooler took its visual inspiration from the mighty aircraft carriers. The Propeller 120 is a unique and elegant CPU cooler design measuring in at 128(L) × 127.5(W) × 145(H) mm and tipping the scales at 590 g without the assistance of the 120 mm fan.
The heatsink features four 8mm nickel-plated copper direct-touch heatpipes that make direct contact with the CPU, two blocks of pitted aluminum fins for added surface area thus better cooling and a 120mm Magnetic Fluid Dynamic Bearing (MFDB) fan with a max airflow of 90.65CFM and a noise level of 16-20dBA.
The Propeller 120 comes with a tube of the company’s newest TX3 thermal compound. Supported sockets include LGA-1366, LGA-775, and AM3/AM2+/AM2. Included with the kit is a tube of TX-3 thermal grease and also a fan controller to adjust the speed of the fan between 1000RPM and 2000RPM. The Propeller 120 should start selling this October.
