You may also want to check out the Ubuntu Wikis, it’s better organized than the forums but sometimes ist’ a bit outdated in certain areas. Luckly the Ubuntu team and a bunch of contributors have created a well organized manual for Ubuntu 10.04, they were also nice enough to add the next release (Lucid Lynx) in by default. “Lucid Lynx” is the code name for Ubuntu 10.04, scheduled for release in April 2010. The manual is basically focused on the beginner with how-tos and related topics that you need to know after installing the famed Linux distro. What topics would you like to see in the manual?
