Victorinox shows off Pro Swiss Army Knife with Bluetooth, Fingerprint Reader & USB Flash Drive
I’m sure most of you have heard of the Victorinox, the world famous original maker of the Swiss Army Knife. The Victorinox Swiss Army Knife has been a worldwide icon for functionality and durability for as long as I can remember. Lately the famous company has been building a reputation for creating technologically advanced Swiss Army knives integrated with laser pointers and flash based storage capabilities.
During CES 2009 Victorinox unveiled it’s latest masterpiece, the Victorinox Presentation Pro, and it’s the most advanced Swiss Army Knife produced by the famed company to date. The Presentation Pro comes packed with features that you wouldn’t expect out of a normal Swiss Army Knife, like a laser pointer, up to 32GB flash memory which is protected with AES and DES encryption, an integrated finger print reader and believe it or not, Bluetooth connectivity. That’s right! Bluetooth. Victorinox’s Swiss Army Knife supports Bluetooth connectivity up to 100 feet (30.48 meters) away.
This is a handy tool for giving office presentations via the laser light and adds a bit of style to the presentation by using a knife rather than a traditional pointer. The two buttons on the side are the wireless remote control which allow you to control a presentation running on a screen. As with most Swiss Army knives this one comes with the traditional selection of tools such as screwdrivers, blades, key ring, ball point pen, scissors and a nail file. No doubt you need the nail file for those presentations, can’t be looking like Godzilla in front of company representatives or subordinates in that morning meeting.
The Victorinox Presentation Pro Swiss Army Knife retails from $169.00 US Dollars to $355 depending on how much storage space you want, ranging from 8GB to 32GB. They also have a model for commuters that fly, it comes sans blade and scissors which can get through security at airports.
