Video: Takeshi Maeda’s OmniZero.9 Robot Transforms
Takeshi Maeda is in the headlines again at ROBO-ONE with their latest robot design, the OmniZero.9. Last we heard from them they had just created the OmniZero.4. Now their back but this time the robot has under gone some serious changes, the ninth version is now humanoid in appearance.
This humanoid looking bot which can turn itself into a four wheeled device to roll along the ground will blow your mind with some of the tricks it can perform. In a demonstration the bot kneels down on it’s wheeled shoulders and knees and wheels it self up a ramp to center stage. It then walks around a bit, flips it’s head back to a seat configuration to allow it’s master to take a ride.
I got a laugh out of watching this bot shoved another robot out off the stage as if it was saying the world isn’t big enough for both.
